Charity support

At 4Life Wealth Management we are keen to give back to the community in which we work via charity work or donations, making a positive and lasting difference.

4Life Wealth Management Ltd work with the following Charities:

• Company Charity: Henshaws College & SJP Foundation

Company Charity - Henshaws College

At 4Life we have worked with Henshaws College and are proud to continue this relationship as they do such vital work for both the education and support of both children and adults.

Henshaws is one of the oldest charities in the UK and in 2017 celebrated their 180th anniversary. The charity Employ around 360 members of staff and 232 volunteers who support individuals, families and their carers who are living with sight loss as well as a range of other disabilities.

Henshaws College

£10,000 raised for a new sensory suite

Henshaw’s College Principal, Angela North said:

The complex needs of many of our students means that sensory development is vitally important in developing highly individualised strategies for communication and an improved understanding of the world around them. The new equipment will provide ways to engage with some of our students who otherwise might have limited abilities to interact. We believe this can be a transformative process in helping every student to develop as an individual.

We are grateful for the generous support of our funders in helping us to transform our sensory room, in particular Sue McGregor and Chris Brewis from 4Life Wealth Management for their personal involvement in securing funding for the project.

St. James's Place Charitable Foundation

We are currently the 3rd largest corporate foundation in the UK, supporting hundreds of charities every year through our grant-making programmes. Many of our charity partnerships go beyond funding, as we also seek to provide a deeper level of support and add value through the SJP community volunteering their time and skills, helping to deliver an even bigger impact.

The charity is supported by the staff and advisers of St. James's Place plc (SJP), who help us raise funds and build relationships with charities.

We were delighted to also help our clients with their personal sponsorship for good causes:

I’m doing a ride (total of 1160km) for The Joshua Tree - a children’s cancer charity. Can your SJP office find it in its heart to sponsor me. Mickey

Dear all

Some terrific news!

I asked Chris Brewis at 4Life Wealth Management (a St James Place partner practice) if they would sponsor me. He said they couldn't sponsor me directly but he could put the charity forward as a case for a donation of 2.5k for 'the mighty cause'. The good news is, not only have we been approved but they have determined that The Joshua Tree is such a fantastic charity, they are going to make a 5k donation. Out of this world! And a VERY special thanks to Chris B for his fine efforts on our behalf.

Best wishes

Mickey
